Ever since I was young, I’ve been filling notebooks with colorful adventures. I’d create little stories to go with them and – dressed up in my costume clothes – proudly share my illustrated tales with my friends. Nowadays, I design and illustrate professionally. And while I still love talking about drawing, I now share this passion through art lessons with my students.
In 2013, I graduated as an illustrator from St. Joost Academy of Art in Breda. After that, I earned my teaching qualification at the Academy of Art in Tilburg.
My illustrations always have a cheerful and colorful touch, as I aim to spread a positive outlook on the world. I bring the same joyful tone to my teaching.
In my lessons and workshops, I explore the boundary between play and learning. After all, learning can be so much more exciting, fun, cheerful, and spontaneous! Through my always joyful illustrations and a big dose of enthusiasm, I make learning enjoyable again.
Being an art teacher is a wonderful way to inspire enthusiasm for art. I thoroughly enjoy teaching drawing and painting courses to students of all ages – so everyone can share in the joy of creativity.
Since 2016, I have been working at the Kunstlokaal in Gemert.
In addition, I offer tailored workshops upon request.
